BRITTANY NELSON
Brittany Nelson is one of our Physical Therapists at Trittschuh Physical Therapy coming to us from the Lake Mary area. She grew up on a number of military bases around the world prior to settling in Lake Mary, FL in 2002. She graduated from Seminole High School and then enrolled in the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015. She remained at the University of Central Florida for graduate school earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy in early 2018. She has developed her skills in areas such as orthopedic dysfunction, vestibular dysfunction, balance and fall prevention, work place injuries and prevention, sports injury to name a few. She has an interest in manual therapy and looks to further her knowledge and skills in our clinical setting which is very conducive to this type of treatment interventions.
When Brittany isn’t working, she enjoys following football (especially UCF), watching movies and going to our local Disney parks.
ROGER GROVER, PTA
Roger Grover is a graduate of Trenton High School here in Florida. He came to DeLand for the first time in 1977 and 1978 where he attended the Glen Wilkes Basketball Camp at Stetson University. He moved to DeLand in 1988 and has remained in this area since that time. He returned to school in 1996 at Daytona Beach Community College earning his AA in general studies. He was accepted into the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 1998 and while dual enrolled at UCF completed his Associate of Science as a PTA earning his license in 2000. He has been treating patients in this community for nearly 19 years now and has been the owner of Trittschuh Physical Therapy since 2006. He is married with two sons and has spent several years coaching youth football, basketball and baseball in this community. He earned his certificate as a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist in 2004 from The Back School of Atlanta and has become very effective in treating various work-related injuries, sports injuries and a wide variety of spinal conditions. He has considerable experience in orthopedics, neurological conditions, vestibular disorders and fall prevention as well as various other conditions.
When not at work Roger enjoys spending time with his family, watching most all sports, fishing and hunting, spending time in his garden and had the honor of serving as The DeLand Quarterback Club Captain in 2017.
MICHELLE HILL
Michelle Hill is a Physical Therapist Assistant here at Trittschuh Physical Therapy. She moved to Florida in 1998 and after getting married in 2006 she moved to Arizona with her husband where she attended Pima Medical Institute. Michelle received her Occupational Associates degree for Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015 and shortly after moved back to Florida. Having worked in various physical therapy settings such as skilled nursing facilities, aquatic therapy, inpatient and outpatient physical therapy she has gained valuable experience treating many different conditions. Her areas of proficiency are orthopedics, manual therapy, balance and fall prevention and gait training to name a few. She has a special interest in sports injuries based on her background in personal training and nutritional wellness.
When Michelle isn’t working, she has an interest in skydiving with over 500 jumps and enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
